AiP Student
Internal communication website for school to communicate to students. Student resources include Student Development, Housing Services, Career Services (including job board), Academic Affairs, Academic Resources (tutoring and writing centers), Classified Section, Supply Store and Library. Site is flexible and able to evolve comprehensively with the daily needs of the school.
AiP Student features a blog organized by department for ease of use in sorting/searching content.
My role: concept, development with web developer, organize content, manage technical support – ongoing, implement new features and departments, support staff responsible for content
AiP Network
Comprehensive collection of the school’s policies, forms and department information including directory and platform for all school resources (still under development).
The long term goal is for this site to be the hub of regular website needs of faculty, students, and special projects.
My role: work with academic affairs to build from the ground up, plan site organization and site map, design and supervise web developer, meet and manage team of staff responsible for website content, train staff on use and provide ongoing technical support
Buy More Cards
Online store featuring Magic: the Gathering, complete with comprehensive blog.
My role: update the store graphics, layout and presentation. Design blog into the site so that both elements compliment each other and the blog is focused on featuring cards that are for sale.
Rock the Campus 2010
Web component of the school’s Summer Studio program for high school juniors and seniors. Goal of the site is to provide a place for attendees to visit throughout the school year, keeping them connected to the school. Also gives them the opportunity to share their experience with friends and family.
My role: plan target audience use and identify needs, design and develop the website, collect photos, video and student work, write each post, promote content
PodCamp Pittsburgh & Bimonthly Event – An Evening with PodCamp
New Media Conference for people who create, enjoy or are interested in learning more about blogs, audio podcasts, web video, content networks and new media monetization. The annual event builds community and allows new media to be accessible to users of various skill levels.
My role: work with other organizers to produce the event annually, oversee budget, seek sponsorship, manage promotions, build community, and host An Evening with PodCamp

OMG Pittsburgh – blog for the community, by the community; a place for Pittsburghers to share what they love about the city
