If you are a fan of Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time series then you will be happy to know that book 12, The Gathering Storm, is due out this year. This is really awesome considering the fact that Robert Jordan passed away last year.

Between this and the new Douglas Adams book (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/And_Another_Thing…_(novel)), it looks like death is no obstacle if you have an established fanbase. I think publishers are taking that “print is dead” saying too literally… *rimshot*
I’ve never been able to make it past book ten, but I’m sooo excited about twelve, even if it is going to be split into three volumes — that just gives me more time to start at the beginning and finally work my way all the way through.
