South Side
It has been a while since I’ve hung out on the South Side. I prefer the older area, streets 10-20, as opposed to the South Side Works area. I like the character I guess.
As I was walking a few blocks to get some coffee I noticed that much has changed on Carson St. First I noticed that a lot of the buildings are looking more uniform. Probably part of a community driven revitalization project. Most of the fronts look good but I hope they all don’t look too nice and neat. What made this side of town so real is it character. Since I don’t get down here that often I can’t really complain.
What else caught my attention are the multitude of clothing shops. Perhaps this is a spin off of the more upscale shops that are in the SS Works.
