Leopard Clean Reinstall
Today I learned that I’m going to have to reinstall Leopard. Nothing major has gone wrong but things have not been working right. Our tech guys think my upgrade to Leopard vs the clean install is the culprit. I have never done a clean reinstall of an OS on a computer with so much information I heavily rely on. Needless to say I’m very nervous about this.
As I type this post I’m copying and digging though all the folders in my home ~\Library folder. I’m wondering if I need to backup all of that folder…
I’m also coming accross info that I think I don’t need anymore. And also noticing that ical has lots of info on calendars I’ve deleted a while ago (could that be part of my sync issues?). There are also these folders that have no meaning to me but have info that I think might be really important, like Apimac. Now what the heck is that folder for?
In any case wish me luck. I think I’ll ask them to make an image of my current hard drive before the hard drive scrub.
