Today I was lucky enough to visit an official Apple computer office, and all I was able to take was this lousy photo.
The word from Justine, “OMGZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!”
Well I guess that is what you call Apple envy.
Actually the real story is that today I went to the CMU Olympus Project presentation. I was there with Jia, whose blog post about olympus was the first feature of the presentation. He got a round of applause for that little video. Jeff, co-organizer of DevHouse, also joined us for the presentations. Since Jeff also works for Apple he showed me around their space before getting back to work. The space had a sense of Apple Store, but the conference room had a great view any office manager would envy.
The actual Olympus presentations were more interesting than in October. There was even a talk on robots and how they talk to one another. Look for a concerned post from Jia on how they are distracting us with cuteness and secretly mass producing lazar guns and armies. Besides that I would encourage everyone to check out what CMU is doing to promote entrepreneurship in Pittsburgh.
