MrDirby’s Design Filter

I’m testing out some new ideas where I can share inspirational items around the web. I started with a Tumblr called MrDirby’s Design Filter. But why keep it trapped on Tumblr.

This post is created with Quick Post-it plugin for wordpress. This works very similar to Tumblr’s Share on Tumblr book mark. Maybe I can just keep this feature on my blog and leave Tumblr in the dust.

Anyone else using this feature? Or anyone else using Tumblr?

  1. The super-simple interface is the thing I like best about Tumblr, so I’m interested to know what you think of the plugin you set up.

I found another one — WooTumblog — which looks like it may have more of the media-specific stuff that makes tumblr easy to post to. I’m going to try it, and I’ll let you know what I think.

  2. I’m going to have to experiment with WooTumblog. I saw the Woo widget for WordPress but didn’t like it at all. I’m actually looking for something very simple for my family to use because they hare always confused about how to get video and pictures online.

Do you think? WooTumblog works with an iPad? That has been a relevant question. I think that it would be a great feature to have a quick post app for iPhone/iPad that is simpler that the WordPress app. Now that I type this I’m thinking that one probably exists.
