Snapshot250

Over the past few months I’ve been working on a community art project with some students that launched back in June. I haven’t been promoting the event too much, because I want them own the project and do what they can on their own. Now, I want to take this opportunity to plug the project and give everyone I know a chance to participate.

Snapshot250 is an amateur photo project where we are looking for digital photo submissions of people, places and scenes in the Pittsburgh region. Anyone can submit a photo (or three) that will be juried and hung on display in the Steel Plaza T Station downtown. For full details check the website: Snapshot250.com.

I hope everyone takes this opportunity to participate. The deadline for entries is September 30th.
